How much power do you give to your fears?

In sessions with clients or during informal exchanges, the notion of fear comes up very often, both for experienced entrepreneurs and for beginners. Fear of others’ judgment, fear of making mistakes, fear of not succeeding, fear of running out of time, fear of not knowing how to “protect” yourself, fear of not knowing how to do it, of not having the skills, fear of visibility, fear of overtaking, fear of running out of customers and money, etc.

With fear comes the illusion that only when it is understood and resolved “for good” can we move forward.

The truth is:
1) There will always be fears, whether you are launching an activity, whether you are doing 5,6,7 figures or more
2) Fears are data, information that allows us to better understand our unconscious functioning and move towards more sovereignty
3) The degree to which we allow our fears to hold us back is inversely proportional to our commitment to our company and our contribution

This last point in particular deserves to be developed. Indeed, choosing entrepreneurship – a fortiori conscious entrepreneurship, i.e. an activity that makes sense and starts from a need to contribute – necessarily puts us face to face with our beliefs and other limiting blockages, since we have to become leaders, who make decisions alone, who sell their services, etc., and no longer employees who are told what to do and who wait for their salary at the end of the month.

So if we make this choice, we must be able to deal with discomfort, questioning, external remarks, our internal criticism. We must be ready to develop our skills in communication and marketing, in particular, in addition to the skills specific to our field of activity.

This will require a certain commitment from us, both towards ourselves (our evolution) and towards our company (giving it the means to grow in order to serve more people).

This is the paradigm shift that is available to you: if you put your commitment before your fears, you can choose to recognize them for what they are (information), to make them the stepping stones to your next level. evolution and keep moving forward. You can choose to take away their power to slow you down, and make your commitment your driving force.

What possibilities would this open up for you? How would it change your decision-making process and the way you invest your time, energy and money in your business?
